Insurance
I am an Out of Network (OON) provider. Depending on your current health insurance benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement. It is highly recommended to call your insurance provider directly to see if they cover mental health therapy as an out of network benefit.
Questions to ask your insurance:
What are my out of network mental health benefits, specifically therapy?
Do I have a deductible? How much is it and what is the coverage after I meet my deductible?
Do I require pre-authorization for out of network provider services?
As an OON provider, I can create a receipt ("super bill" or sometimes called an "insurance Reimbursement Statement" ) by request at the end of each month for you to take to your insurance for reimbursement. I cannot guarantee approval or reimbursement for any claims by your insurance provider. It is best to contact them directly to start with.

Why should I use an Out of Network Provider?
Quality therapy is about meeting you where you are at in your journey and putting your needs first. Being an out of network provider allows me to provide high quality, specialized and individualized care focused solely on you and your goals. As an out of network provider, I am also able to provide you with a higher level of confidentiality than an in-network provider can.
I have several gripes with insurance when it comes to mental healthcare. First, most insurances will only allow for so many sessions per year, regardless of what you are going through. If that isn’t bad enough, they can refuse to reimburse for me for services provided if it doesn’t follow what their billers think should be happening in our sessions. Personally, I am 100% for insurance, but I truly believe the professionals (and patients) in each department should be making decisions about what is best for them, not people looking at the bottom line of the insurance company.
Do you accept HSA?
Most of the time, people are able to use their HSA card to pay for the full rate of therapy
Forms of Accepted Payment
Cash, check and all major credit cards are accepted as payment
Payment is due at the time services are rendered
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend our session, I require at least 48 hours advance notice for cancellation. No-shows to appointments will be charged the full fee. It is always best to reach out to me as soon as you know there is a scheduling conflict. I will never charge for an emergency cancellation.
